Upcoming Turncoat Showcase!
Despite Turncoat Records still being a fresh new face for the Leeds music scene, their recent string of well-received shows across Leeds and Manchester has quickly cemented them as a vital source of local talent.
If you've not managed to find yourself in the midst of one of their earth-shatteringly good rock shows, then fear not, as they've just announced a stunning new showcase for later this month.
Sunday 23rd February at Hyde Park Book Club
A free event will be held by the label in HPBC's snug, with three amazing bands playing:
First, Pharmacie, a band I haven't been able to catch yet, but I heard they're pretty sick. Their sound has some emo vibes apparently, so I'll defo be there to check them out.
Next is Elwell, a new music outing from Skvmb/Normal Village guitarist. He'll be playing new music with a new lineup compared to the few shows he performed throughout 2024. He's definitely one to watch.
Headlining the event will be Bank Details, a Leeds mainstay who I doubt needs much introduction. This dynamic post-rock/alt-rock band have impressed the city straight from their formation. Those who attended the Recent Regtown Festival held by Private Regcords will know the amount of Energy they can bring to a room. Still unsure? Check out their debut single 'Undone' and I'm sure that will sway your mind - listen here!
As said above, ENTRY IS FREE, so there are no excuses. See you there!
